BALM by Kelly Bickle is a petroleum-free, cruelty-free, vegan petroleum alternative, consisting of only 6 ingredients. It is olive oil based, free of all fragrances and dyes, and contains no harsh ingredients, making it excellent for wounds, surgical sites, and post procedure uses. Anecdotally, patients have told me it has been great for eczema and psoriasis. In short, it can be used for everything you would use petroleum jelly for.

Hi! 👋 I'm Kelly Bickle MD

I created this balm because I was tired of putting petroleum-based products on my patients’ skin. I wanted something cleaner — vegan, planet-friendly, cruelty-free, and truly safe for every skin type. I needed a formula that supported healing, soothed irritation, and could be used confidently on my surgical and cosmetic patients. This balm is the product I always wished existed: gentle, effective, and made with ingredients that actually help your skin heal.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes. Not only do we operate under zero-tolerance of testing on animals, all of our products are also vegan and paraben free.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our glass jars were chosen for reusable and recyclable nature. Feel free to re-use them for storage, more balm!

Does this help with eczema?

Our balm isn’t formulated or advertised as a medical treatment for eczema. However, many customers with dry, irritated, or sensitive skin tell us they love using it because it’s gentle, petroleum-free, deeply moisturizing, and soothing. Our eczema patients have all reported great relief using the BALM on their affected areas.

If you have eczema or any medical condition, we always recommend checking with your dermatologist to make sure it’s the right fit for your skin.
